Am I being spoiled?
I have 16 years and I can get my license this December, I told my parents the type of car that I would like is a Jetta (I had chosen others before the Jetta as a Jeep and a Buick and finally decided on a Jetta.) I built a line Jetta SE and accessories I added it as a spoiler, I was a little less than $ 24,000. I told my parents and mom's mom thought it was not so bad and is very safe, but my father is acting like I'm asking for a BMW. I think you're being unreasonable b / c my sister half received a Civic when she turned 16 and my cousin received a Jetta (Idk how old was my cousin when he was though.) I have even offered to pay for the accessories with my life savings which is a little less than $ 6,000, and my dad says to keep their money not to mention I do all A and B. Do you think I'm being bad or my dad is just being an idiot?
You sound spoiled for me but if their parents can afford and will not hurt your savings, then what's the difference. Being spoiled isn't much of the amount received, as is the to act when they get what they want. If you throw fits when you do not get their way, then spoil. If someone says no to you and you act with maturity and takes no like a golf club then I would say that arent bad.
